Established by the Washington, D.C.-based Cultural Landscape Foundation () in  after several years of behind-the-scenes work, the biennial è����Ƶ Prize recognizes practitioners who are “exceptionally talented, creative, courageous, and visionary” and who have “a significant body of built work that exemplifies the art of landscape architecture.”
